Brutus needed to have a tumor removed and a biopsy performed. His single owner, a disabled woman who has an income of less than $20,000.00 a year, managed to scrape together $500.00 towards the cost and Help-A-Pet paid the remaining amount.

A disabled woman and her daughter were referred to Help-A-Pet
by a nonprofit social service organization. Their boxer/shepherd mix puppy, Sally, was helped with financial assistance so that she could be spayed, vaccinated, and dewormed.

A working gentleman who supports his aunt and cousin who live with him had to make a visit to the emergency room with his cat, Tiger. His cat had gotten progressively weaker the past few days. Tiger was helped by having the cost of his two day stay at the emergency clinic split between his owner and Help-A-Pet.

Help-A-Pet's first iguana pet patient! King is owned by a very observant student. It's not easy to notice when an iguana isn't feeling well. King suffered from a nutritional imbalance which will be put to right with the aid of some supplements.

A toy poodle named Woo Woo was helped by having an intestinal blockage surgically removed. He is the cherished friend of 8 year old Matthew and 2 year old Gabrille.
